- Bolster hammer to drive the orchard tree stakes in
- Brown cardboard boxes and scissors( cardboard to be used as a weed suppressant after we have cleared around the base of the trees)
- Sturdy Stick for bracken bashing
We would like to include an update on how people are interacting with the site for the next newsletter. So far, we have been informed that people are:
- Sitting on the bench almost daily
- Walking their dogs in the orchard and meadow most days and then often go on into Nagshead.
- Using the orchard area for running training.
but we are sure there are others who just like to enjoy it.
The attached photos show the large area of cowslips on the bottom field after the orchard and more wildflowers are appearing all the time, exciting times for the community orchard!
