The NDP Steering Group really appreciated your help in responding to the Community Transport Survey which has highlighted the negative impact that the bus changes have had on preserving the independence of local people. It also identified the need for a bus service linking villages to Lydney train station to reduce the number of car journeys taking people to / from there. This has now been passed on to WDPC, GCC and other transport groups, There will be opportunities to see the full results soon.

The next stage is to consult local businesses and also community/voluntary groups and organisations. We have two different surveys for these; they are quick to fill in and do NOT ask for any financial or confidential information but will provide an overview of how many and what types of businesses and community groups make up the area of the Forest Edge South NDP. It will also provide evidence of where the infrastructure e.g. mobile signal and broadband may support or hinder your service.
