Forest Edge South Neighbourhood Development Plan(NDP)
TRANSPORT CONSULTATION 2019
Thank you for the excellent responses received at the recent NDP Open Days. One issue highlighted was transport and how people can get around the area safely and efficiently. The Forest of Dean public transport network is served by Stagecoach, Willett’s, Forest of Dean Community Transport e.g. Dial-a-ride and a voluntary driver hospital scheme.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
We now need to identify what works or doesn’t and how you think it could be improved. The survey results will provide evidence to take to councils and providers and hopefully lead to an improved transport network for all.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?
When you get your survey, please discuss this as a household, fill in the questionnaire and return to Parkend Post Office or Yorkley Community Centre. There is also on online version at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CNXGLP8.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Please get involved in this survey as it will provide much needed evidence about the impact of forest public transport on local residents. We are aiming to deliver paper copies to everyone in Parkend, Pillowell, Whitecroft, Yorkley, Oldcroft and Viney Hill. If you can help deliver these in your local area please let us know asap so that the task can be shared.
If you would like some help filling this in or would like it collected please ring Elaine on 01594 563479
