Many thanks to everyone who helped at the NDP Open Day in Parkend last Saturday. It was fantastic to see so many people, from babies to 90yrs+, turn up to discuss and share their views on all subjects about the future of the local area. Hot topics included the plans for a safe Multi-Use Track from Parkend to Lydney, affordable housing, transport, play and sports facilities, The Arts and Culture and the opportunity to look at really large maps of the area.
If you missed this really informative session then you still have two more chances to be part of it. The next one is at Yorkley Community Centre on May 18th 11- 4pm and then at Whitecroft Memorial Hall on June 1st 11 - 4pm. FREE DRINKS AND HOMEMADE CAKES.
There is also an anonymous questionnaire that we would like everyone to fill in about what you like about the area and what could be improved. These will be at each venue or can be downloaded fromhttps://www.westdeanpc.org.uk/…/fes_ndp_questionnaire11039.….
All completed forms can be placed in the box at Parkend Village Shop. We will also get some copies placed in there for you to take and fill in. It is important that we get as many people to take part from all sectors of the community, young people, old people, families, people who work or socialise here etc. so please share this very important information. All questionnaires need to be returned by June 10th.
